Pop music video analysis 2 bruno mars the lazy song

CINEMATOGRAPHY
The cinematography in this video is not large in the sense of the admount of variety there is in the shots. the main shots are long shots and mid-shots . This allows enough of the set to be seen so the viewer can understand the topic of the song without being shown too much that it looks excessive. the lighting is low-key which I also like. The camera doosent move in the video and stays at a fix point with the performers moving to and from the camera to show the long and mid-shots.

MIS-EN-SCENE
The mis-en-scene is interesting in this piece it openly displays a casual and indeed lazy mood. This reflects the type of performer bruno mars is. The costumes are miss or colours ranging from dull to fairly bright such as the black and red one that bruno mars is wearing. This helps for the audience to immediately establish who the key performer or performers that they should be watching in the video.

SOUND
The sound is simply the music that is lip-synched with a Dance routine

EDITING
There is no editing in this video performers move seamlessly from point to point
within the video space.

PERFORMANCE
I liked the performance a lot. the dance routine followed the
beat of the music nicely in a relaxed laid-back style. The dance routine is loose but well
choerographed and ties in nicely with the laid back beat of the music.
