it is important to have signed talent release forms before you begin any form of filming for your music video.
talent release forms are important to have as they show that the signee acknowledges the fact that the crew are filming there likeness and will not seek to claim any form of benefit and or compensation from the video.

The song that we have chosen is by an relatively unknown english hip hop
artist called scorcher. The song is called good morning and we chose it due
to its heavy beats and vibrant feel and also due to the fact that it meets our criteria
for english based hip hop music only.

looking at it you can see that is follows the tradtional hip-hop convention of tieing subject matters
in with money and fame.

lyric annotation

the lyrics have been annotated by emily.

the Bordwell and Thompson method has been used with the annotation. she has highlighted and made light of the common lyrics seen in hip hop such as "I was busy making paper" showing hip hops attitude and the devotion it places on money and success.

story boarding

this is a video of us storyboarding. to help speed things up we worked by delegating
task between us all. emily had to draw the storyboard itself while me and jordan shared
the role of colouring and writing in the important detail like shot types and timing of the shots for example.
